As a Teams Voice Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enabling and optimizing voice communication within Microsoft Teams Your expertise will be essential in implementing and maintaining voice-related projects, ensuring seamless collaboration for our organization
Teams PSTN Voice Enablement Projects:
Lead and execute projects related to Teams PSTN voice services
Familiarity with the following components:
Calling Plans
Operator Connect
Teams Mobile
Direct Routing
Migration Projects:
Migrate from Skype for Business on-premises Enterprise Voice to Microsoft Teams PSTN Telephony
Transition legacy PBX systems to Teams
SIP Trunking and DID Porting:
Configure and manage SIP trunks
Handle DID (Direct Inward Dialing) porting
Teams Rooms and End User Devices:
Deploy and configure Teams Rooms (meeting rooms) and Common Area Phones
Ensure optimal functionality and user experience
Call Quality Troubleshooting (QoS):
Investigate and resolve call quality issues
Monitor and enhance Quality of Service (QoS) for voice calls
MS Teams/Voice Engineer - Mandatory Skills
5+ years working with Microsoft Teams voice-related technologies and projects
Migration experience to MS Teams – PBX, Skype
SIP Trunking
DID Porting
Microsoft Teams Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Teams as a collaboration tool
Knowledge of underlying services, governance, and security methodologies
MS Teams/Voice Engineer – Preferred Skills
Session Border Controller (SBC) experience:
Hands-on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of SBCs
Familiarity with SBC vendors such as AudioCodes, Ribbon, and Cisco Cube
MS Teams/Voice Engineer - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 6 months to start MS Teams/Voice Engineer - Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Remotely
