Middle Game Designer

Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company that creates cutting-edge mobile & PC games focusing on innovation, creativity, and engaging gameplay. We are looking for a Middle Game Designer to join our team and help us revolutionize the RTS genre.

As a Middle Game Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the core gameplay systems of our game. You will be responsible for designing and balancing complex gameplay mechanics, ensuring an enjoyable and challenging experience for players.

Responsibilities:

• Balance complex core gameplay systems and mechanics to ensure an enjoyable player experience
• Design and develop new game mechanics, systems, and features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver game features successfully
• Research and analyze player behaviour to inform design decisions
• Develop product roadmaps and prioritize feature implementation
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback for design iteration

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in game design or product design
• Proven experience in game design, specializing in balancing complex core gameplay systems
• Passion for the RTS genre
• Passion for history, World War II setting and knowledge of historical events, weaponry, and tactics
• Proficiency with game design and product design tools and Unity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
