Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system reliability and performance. Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases of software products.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Security: Implement security best practices for Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters to safeguard applications and data.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to ensure high availability and scalability.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes for orchestration and Docker for containerization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with microservices architecture and managing large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Github Actions).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Understanding of GitOps practices.
- Prior experience in a similar industry.
