Summary:

MEP Designer – Remote

The remote 2-3D Engineering Designer will work closely with our engineering teams to draw and support MEP design for a variety of facilities in different industries. This role can be performed remotely, from home, and at one of our offices either in King of Prussia, PA, Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare, based on sketches and other data, drawings and diagrams of mechanical and electrical systems, including:

• Plumbing and ventilation systems modeling and 2D drafting (building mechanical systems);
• Plant layout;
• P&ID’s;
• Electrical conduit networks, equipment location and room layout;
• Different utility diagrams;
• Manage project drawings sets;
• Apply the company's design, drafting and quality standards;
• Perform surveys at construction sites;
• Perform drafting support for offsite manufacturing plants;
• Create discipline specific and detailed component models for overlay and visual purposes
• Qualifications:
• Experience in Autodesk suite, mainly: Revit, Plant 3D and Autocad 2D experience
• 0-5 years of experience in modeling and drawing mechanical systems for building projects
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organization and prioritization
