Work with the Membership Account Manager and Managing Director to ensure retention of existing account YoY (above 85% YoY).
Work with the Membership Account Manager and Managing Director to design and implement a standardised membership on-boarding process.
Outreach by phone and email to designated contacts at all of our member organisations to encourage them to maximise the value of their membership and specifically, our events and reports programme.
Work closely with the team to develop and implement a rolling strategy of communications to keep members engaged throughout the year.
Communicate effectively internally, to ensure the member engagement and communications programme is aligned with the business development team.
Develop positive relationships with our membership and also with our own tight-knit team, through a consistent, data and analytics driven approach.
Support the business development team with early-stage lead qualification, as and when required. This will include using our proven sales and marketing methods (via phone and written correspondence) to generate Sales Qualified Leads via both inbound and outbound sales and marketing enquiries.
Consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism, communication, and good judgement with the ability to work independently with C-suite and senior professionals at our current client organisations.
Assist members with any technical or customer service related queries in a professional and timely manner.
CRM management and maintenance: provide effective data management and ensure member accounts are up-to-date at any given time.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Strong sales skills and account management experience, preferably obtained in a professional B2B environment or previous delegate sales role
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to understand and digest information (i.e. Membership package agreements, client account strategy)
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Proven ability to interact with senior decision-makers
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast- paced team
Effective time management
Good working knowledge and proficiency in Excel and Word
Previous CRM and database experience (Hubspot preferred)
