We are currently looking for a Medallia Quality Assurance Tester for a 100% remote position for a large federal government project. The Enterprise Measurement and Configuration Services (EMACS) team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to support end-to-end configuration requirement quality assurance testing for Medallia survey programs, including integrations with other source systems. This role will be responsible for quality assurance (QA) testing throughout the implementation of technical requirements captured for each Medallia program. During testing, you will help validate that each program has achieved its design specifications to ensure the integrity and quality of data collected through the Medallia platform.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases to safeguard Medallia platform performance and data quality.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on Medallia survey forms, feedback mechanisms, and related components.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of customer feedback data collected through Medallia surveys, ensuring that it aligns with client business requirements.
- Proactively identify, suggest resolutions for, and report on defects, inconsistencies, and issues in Medallia survey data collection, reporting, and analysis through resolution.
- Explore opportunities for test automation and create automated test scripts for repetitive and critical test cases.
- Ensure that changes and updates to the Medallia platform do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
- Stay up to date on the latest completed and planned Medallia platform enhancements, as well as quality assurance testing industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant work experience may substitute for a degree).
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on web-based applications and data validation.
- Proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
- Proficient in defining internal quality control standards and maintaining reliability programs (in accordance with industry standards and best practices).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
- 1+ years of prior work experience in or with the Federal Government.
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Additional Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working with Medallia platform configurations and configuration quality assurance testing.
- Experience connecting customer experience management systems with third-party solutions, such as Salesforce.
