We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Systems Manager to join our friendly team. As our Manufacturing Systems Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring our manufacturing and engineering systems investments support the strategic priorities of the business. Working closely with the Head of Engineering and the IT team you’ll implement and drive the strategy for future manufacturing and engineering systems. You’ll be a key influencer across the business, ensuring that technology is seen as an enabler and driver of positive change.
We are flexible with base location for this role as it’s a Nationwide role, but ideally based anywhere north of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire (see website for our manufacturing sites)
This role will involve supporting all KP Snacks manufacturing sites in the UK however this role will offer you the opportunity of exposure to the wider Intersnack Group business across Europe.

We produce 440 tonnes of finished product every day, consisting of crisps, extruded and sheeted snacks, pellets, nuts and tortillas:2 million packs of McCoy’s, 3 million packs of Hula Hoops, 1 million packs of Skips, 1 million packs of Pom-Bear.
As a Manufacturing Systems Manager some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Effectively manage the relationships between the business and third-party suppliers
- Driving continued improvement and use of KP Snacks Manufacturing application portfolio
- Responsibility for the central control and reporting of all Factory Executing Systems elements of each site, developing a central reporting strategy to link into Intersnack central KPI reporting.
- Facilitating the Manufacturing Systems Steering Group (MSSG) for the KP business and pull together all systems and data capture for both our manufacturing sites and IT department.
- Ensuring an effective Process Forum/Super user organisation is maintained within the business that both monitors and controls established processes and drives the changes that will improve these processes
- Develop central engineering systems; investigating and understanding how each development can be future proofed
- Provide Engineering KPI’s which support KP Snacks Head of Engineering’s overall Strategic plans for the Engineering Function, developing central standard reporting
- Operational People issues - operational skills, administration, managing Site Key user capabilities in all Manufacturing Systems
- Manufacturing Systems Processes design, implementation, and continuous improvement
- IT bias - close connection with the IT team
- Business analyst for OT type processes
- Program management and delivery
- Coordinating MSSG and aligning plans with key process owners, for example, Supply Chain and Quality, IT and Manufacturing Business Analyst
- Manufacturing Systems Capital projects
- Aligning business requirements plans and systems delivery and development with Intersnack Work System Management teams

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Excellent knowledge of standard FMCG processes
- Experienced in producing business and technical specifications
- Budgetary and financial management experience
- Proven project management experience
