About the Role
Welcome to the rocket ship! This role will be tasked to find the balance between maintaining credit risk and providing affordable lending products to our customers. Additionally, this role will interact with some of the most innovative solutions in the lending industry and get to learn how to use data to drive strategies in the business. Come and ride with us!

Challenges You'll Solve- The Intern assists with the development and implementation of solutions to influence business decisions for relevant line(s) of business
- Identifies and explores potential vendors/partners to enhance our existing processes and product offerings
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Applies programming and analytical techniques to assess loan performance data
- Participates in the development and implementation of credit risk strategies as a team resource
- Under general supervision, analyzes credit trends or variances and provides results for root cause analyses
About You- Pursuing an undergraduate/advanced degree (i.e
- Masters) at an accredited university with an expected graduation date of summer 2024 or later. Majoring in statistics, economics, finance or any other STEM discipline
- Graduation date cannot be prior to the end of the internship
- Experience supporting data driven strategy
- Foundational level of business acumen in the areas of the consumer finance, lending operations, and database analysis
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access or similar spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database tools
- Good analytical experience with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of coding languages, such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Straightforward and concise in communication
