Lead Product Designer

CloudQuery is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to help us build and design the managed version of our popular open source project. You will be responsible for leading the design team, setting the design vision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing products.

• Lead and mentor the Product Design team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
• Define and drive the overall design strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's vision and goals.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and refine product requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Conduct user research, user testing, and gather feedback to make data-driven design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design patterns to maintain a competitive edge.
• Champion the user experience and advocate for design excellence within the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a product, ux, or ui designer, with a portfolio of work demonstrating mastery of design principles and practices.
• Strong visual design skills and a keen eye for detail, with a focus on creating intuitive, attractive, and compelling user experiences.
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating user-focused products.
• Experience designing complex software products, with proven ability to create simple, elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams.
• Experience with user research, including conducting user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
