Job Description
The Lead Insights Analyst (L3) is a critical role focused on guiding the insights team and delivering detailed analysis on partner performance and revenue optimization. This position requires exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), strong analytical skills, and experience with affiliate metrics and models.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead and mentor the insights team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Coordinate with the Senior Manager, Data Analytics to set team goals and priorities.
Granular Reporting and Insights Generation
Analyze and report on partner performance across various pages, providing detailed insights into results and trends.
Develop and automate position-level SEM and affiliate reporting to enhance revenue tracking and optimization.
Affiliate Metrics and Models
Utilize a deep understanding of affiliate metrics (EPC, sales, conversion rates) to generate actionable insights.
Ensure the team has a thorough understanding of affiliate models and can adapt quickly to changes in the affiliate landscape.
Google Analytics Expertise
Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Use GA4 to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics.
Train team members and stakeholders on GA4 best practices and insights generation.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to streamline data processes.
Collaborate with the Data Strategy team to ensure data is leveraged effectively to support business objectives.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress and challenges.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on affiliate marketing and metrics.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Deep understanding of affiliate metrics (EPC, sales, conversion rates) and models.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
