Lead Game Designer

Signal Space Lab is an interactive creation studio in Montreal, QC in Canada specializing in immersive XR entertainment, video games, and audio production. Our goal is to advance in the art of interactive media by imaging and producing original, innovative, and memorable experiences that materialized into sounds, visuals, and gaming environments.

We are now on the lookout for a motivated Lead Game Designer who thinks differently about entertainment, interactivity, and reality in general. ‍‍

Role/Responsibilities:

• Defining the core systems and the global vision of Monkey Do
• Implementing and balancing features in engine
• Creating Documentation 
• Communicating with all departments to coordinate efforts
• Working closely with the the Lead Programmer and the Art Director to achieve our vision of the game
• Working closely with the Level Designer to provide him guidelines and feedback on his work
• Leading and mentoring a junior designer 

Qualifications

• 7+ years of game design experience
• Strong Experience with 3C/Character controllers
• Strong knowledge of Level Design tools 
• Experience in systemic design
• Experience with Complex AI and navmeshes
