Kazoo System Administrator

Salary: P110,000 - P140,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM CST)

 

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, with a preference for candidates experienced in VoIP systems, specifically Kazoo by 2600Hz.
  • Expertise in FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, and proficiency in configuring and managing CouchDB and HAProxy.
  • Proficient in Erlang programming and familiar with the OTP framework, with a strong grasp of concurrent programming patterns.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration, scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SIP) and advanced networking concepts.

 

What will you do?

  • System Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly perform system checks, updates, and patches for the Kazoo platform, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
  • Integration and Configuration: Implement and manage integrations with FreeSWITCH for call processing and Kamailio for SIP server capabilities, ensuring seamless operation within the Kazoo ecosystem.
  • Database Management: Oversee the performance and high availability configurations of CouchDB databases, ensuring data reliability across distributed systems.
  • Load Balancing and High Availability: Configure and maintain HAProxy for load balancing and high availability, optimizing traffic distribution and systemresilience.
  • Erlang/OTP Programming: Employ Erlang programming for custom development and optimization of Kazoo applications, enhancing scalability and efficiency.
  • Security Management: Implement robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats, adhering to best practices.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support, resolving issues related to the Kazoo platform and its integrated components.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and changes. Prepare reports on system status and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work with internal teams and provide training to ensure efficient use of the Kazoo platform.
