Junior PHP Software Developer (DoS)

Expression is looking for a Junior software developer with experience in PHP and WordPress, to join our team in the Washington, DC area.  This person will be responsible for working independently and within a team while being involved in all phases of the development lifecycle for custom client/server web-based applications, including WordPress's Gutenberg editor enablement, a page-builder style editor allowing the editor greater flexibility with content while keeping the user experience on brand. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Deliver feature enhancements to the full stack
• Work with developers on tickets in progress
• Issue bug remediation and coordinate fixes with QA testing
• Keep up with monthly development  environment builds in Jenkins
• Navigate AWS Cloudwatch logs and related data for troubleshooting and by request

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of Public Trust, Secret Security Clearance preferred
• 2 years of experience in PHP and WordPress
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Jenkins, AWS Cloudwatch, and React
• Ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with your team in a remote setting
