With our impressive growth, Haud is now looking for a highly energetic and dynamic Sales & Business Development Director (SBD) for the global sales of our Smart Xchange solution.
HAUD’s International Markets encompass the following territories, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Asia, LATAM, (Latin America) and North America.
You will possess a great understanding of the A2P global marketplace and will have a strong analytical mind, with a rolodex of key executives in both the Global MNO marketplace and the companies in A2P that supply to it.
Smart Xchange is an A2P connectivity Hub that is used by MNO’s and Messaging aggregators, to route, bill and Invoice, A2P messaging, it enables its customers to monitor and report on their A2P business, giving fully detailed financial analysis and business analytics.
- The SBD is tasked with identifying, generating and delivering the company revenue objectives, quarterly and annually in the specified region.
- Execute agreed annual and quarterly key sales and delivery objectives.
- Build and develop the relationship with Key individuals and C level executives with the MNO’s in the region.
- Develop, establish and support new business sales activities in the Middle East and African marketplace.
- Provide structured feedback to HAUD product, marketing and technical teams concerning customer issues, needs and priorities relevant to HAUD products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales growth strategy & execution.
- Develop and manage the sales channels to maximum performance on sales, collections, support.
- Develop and execute the strategy to position our products as a market leader in the SMS Security, wholesale, A2P space with mobile operators.
- Create and execute annual business plans to effectively integrate with company plans and operations.
- Analyze competitive offerings and create appropriate response.
- Maintain a high degree of understanding of the product line and ensure company strategies reflect the needs of the customer.
- Bring in the appropriate individuals to work the deal negotiation with the customer and strategic partners.
- Anticipate the customer need and maintain HAUD’s value chain structure.
Requirements
- Accustomed to working with the regions Mobile Network Operators.
- Senior director level with extensive contacts and relationships at all levels within the MNO’s within the region.
- A go getter, assertive, tremendous energy, self-motivation, self-starter, leaves no stone unturned to achieve results.
- Comfortable dealing with technical and commercial contacts within the MNO’s.
- Confident consultative selling skills.
- Capable of identifying and leveraging 3rd parties to secure deals within the region.
- Able to operate within and get things done in a very dynamic company environment.
- Builds sustained customer and partner relationships based on trust and delivery of commitments.
- Understands early stage companies and is flexible to change as we learn.
- Ability to promote and sell innovative services/products as they are being developed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - at all levels and commands respect internally and externally.
- Essential one is recognised and credible at C-level.
- Excellent organiser and planner with problem solving skills.
- Effective in working in matrix teams sharing resources.
- Minimum 10 years successful experience in the region.
- Strong conceptual understanding of mobile messaging communications.
- Understands the A2P marketplace.
- Strong collaborative team player/leader.
- Ability to understand and maintain creditability with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Industry knowledge, resourcefulness and a strong network of customer, channel and industry contacts.
- Business planning skills.
- Hands-on and results-oriented with integrity and impeccable character.
