ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Interim Senior People Advisor (contractor or fixed-term contract / Maternity Cover) to join our People Operations team remotely for the period from ASAP until 28.02.2025 in fulltime or min. 32 hours per week. Your role will be limited in time but will have a high impact on the delivery of key functions: Global Payroll & Benefits Management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- As a Senior People Advisor with a focus on Global Payroll & Benefits, you'll work closely with the other People Advisor and with all your stakeholders, both internal and external, as well as our People, Culture & Workplace Team.
- You will be covering all people operations tasks, such as on/off-boarding, contract management, certificate preparation, and leave management (parental leave etc.)
- You will be responsible for carrying out our monthly or bi-monthly payroll in Germany, UK, US, and Canada and coordinating the payroll with our external EOR agency, Papaya Global, in all the other locations ( worldwide).
- You will also be responsible for coordinating the open enrollment in the USA at the end of the year in collaboration with our PEO Vensure.
- You will take care of all topics-benefits and payroll.
- You will contribute to the well-functioning of all people operations in the team, together with our other People Advisor, by answering stakeholders' and employees' requests.
- You will work in a collaborative and agile team to help us to get to the next level.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING :
- Proven experience in a similar role as Senior People Operations / Senior People Advisor role, ideally in an international, fast-paced tech scale-up
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with both internal colleagues and external partners
- You have a strong background in global payroll management, especially in Germany, the US, Canada and UK.
- You are familiar with benefits management, ideally in the US environment (UK would be a big plus)
- You may have worked with EOR partners to onboard employees globally.
- You are familiar with DATEV qne BambooHR.
- You are fluent in English
