The Position
We believe in our company, our solution, our team and ourselves and we welcome talented individuals to come and be part of it. We have a newly created opportunity for an Implementation Consultant to join our growing team at our Head Office in Edinburgh or remotely from within the UK.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Implementation Consultant to help our customers configure and deploy our solutions. You’ll take the hassle out of resolving technical problems and provide training to users to maximise the value of our technology.
Ultimately, you should be able to translate our internal and external customers’ needs into high quality solutions.
Principle Responsibilities
- Work within a team or individually to successfully deploy our technology to new and existing customers
- Remote installation, configuration and testing of QikServe software in production environments
- Lead deployments from pilot to multi-site roll outs
- Responsible for the planning, configuration & documentation
- Comfortable to drive deployments of new technology
- Subject matter expert of QikServe’s enterprise integrations platform
- Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
- Produce & maintain configuration and troubleshooting documentation
- Work closely with the Product team to build new feature requirements
- In collaboration with Customer Success, provide an outstanding customer experience
- Effective communication with all levels of a customer’s organisation
- Carry out level 2 and level 3 incident support for in-production systems and manage end user expectations
- Non-office hours 7x24 mobile support in rotation
Required Skills & Experience
- Technology Deployment experience, ideally within the Hospitality / Food & Beverage sector
- Previous experience operating or implementing Point of Sale (Oracle/Micros, NCR, Zonal and others)
- Experience of requirements gathering and analysis to then map those to configurable functionality
- Strong stakeholder and customer management experience
- Experience in seeing projects through a pilot phase to rolling out to multiple locations
- Self-motivated and ability to function on an individual level without the need of constant supervision
- Ability to analyse problems and resolve swiftly
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written are essential
- Flexible approach to problem solving
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience operating or implementing payment solutions
- Experience in deploying enterprise grade software
- Experience using Atlassian’s software suite
- Experience using Microsoft’s software suite
- Experience in Hospitality or Retail industries advantageous
