Job Description

Pay Range: $94,500 to $111,500 per year

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

  • This position provides consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives to support the deployment of HR operational processes across all Foster Farms facilities.
  • Ensures all Foster Poultry Farms’ facilities comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations pertaining to HR operational processes and policies.
  • Provides best practices training to HR Operations teams and audits HR operational processes and practices. 
  • Develops scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR department processes and increase efficiencies by providing recommendations and guidance to HR team, frontline management on policy and compliance programs.
  • This role is required to travel to multiple locations on a frequent basis.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops and implements processes designed to enforce compliance with federal, state, and local laws and promote consistency with practices and Company policies.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives.
  • Partners with HR Operations teams and oversees Team Member data management processes to ensure data is secure and maintained, consistent with company policies.
  • Partners with HR Operations teams to develop and implement processes designed to enforce compliance with:
    • Federal, state, and local laws
    • Company practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance by providing audits and improving visibility of process efficiencies.
  • Contributes and leads projects to support operational initiatives.
  • TEAM Member will aid in tracking and maintaining records of compliance and provide support to the operations HR TEAM.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Regional HR Managers and Vice President Human Resources Operations on special projects and activities.
  • Provides regional or on-site coverage where needed.   
  • Other duties, as needed.


Qualifications
  • 5 years of work experience with Human Resources processes and policies, preferably in a manufacturing environment in a Human Resources management position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize process efficiency and data quality.
  • Administrative project management experience.
  • Experience in a union environment, managing a collective bargaining agreement, strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources Management Software
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.).
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Frequent travel, along with periodic travel outside of the state
