Amperon is the leading analytics and forecasting company for the energy transition. Our platform leverages advanced algorithms and machine learning techniques to accurately forecast energy demand on both the supply (power & utilities companies) and demand (large energy users) sides of the market. We incorporate real-time data feeds that help our clients reduce cost, monitor energy efficiency while increasing substantially.
We bring the brightest minds from energy, security and technology in order to combat climate changes and transition to clean energy solutions. We have offices in Texas but are a remote first company.
Amperon operates at the intersection of energy data, AI, and domain expertise to empower the world to navigate the energy transition more effectively. Using best-in-class data ingestion and management infrastructure, coherent AI/ML models, and leading-edge predictive analytics, Amperon provides tools that generate economic and societal value.
Amperon seeks to modernize the grid data and AI software stack to improve reliability, optimize asset economics, and accelerate decarbonization for grid operators, asset owners, and end-users. We're building the next generation of market-leading energy analytics and forecasting products, and we want you to be part of our journey!
We are seeking a Human Relations Manager who is passionate about supporting a distributed, hybrid workforce. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape Amperon’s HR strategy at an exciting time in the company’s journey. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of HR programs and reports to the Executive Vice President, Communications and Chief of Staff. We are looking for a versatile HR professional with innovative ideas and solid experience to support our company.
You’ll have the opportunity to help shape various Amperon’s HR strategies that have a direct impact on the success of the business and it's employees. Some of the responsibilities include:
You have 5+ years experience or similar role in a small-to-midsize company during a fast growth period. Working knowledge of country, state, and legal regulations for multiple states and countries; global, hybrid HR experience is a plus. You have strong experience with HRIS platforms that have comprehensive solutions for payroll, HR, and benefits. You have strong interpersonal skills and experience providing feedback and mentoring that helps others grow and become more effective in their roles. Proven experience managing a diverse group of team members including W2, contractors, and freelancers. You are tech savvy with experience with tools such as Microsoft Suite, Teams, Kamsa, Pave, Greenhouse, HRIS software, Slack and more. Hands on experience with various compliance tools that ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations both domestic and internationally.
While we are serious about our company's culture, we aren't going to force "culture" to prove that we are cool and fun. It’s a company filled with smart, genuinely nice individuals who are passionate about data science, energy and working together to build a product that can have a lasting impact on our planet.
Even though we are a remote company with employees spread across the globe, we still believe human interaction is a good thing. We will also have an all-company event at least once a year so people can get to know each other in a more fun and social way.
If you are excited about contributing to a product that can have a lasting impact on our planet and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments, we would love to hear from you.
