Who we need
We need a detail-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy HR Coordinator who will play a crucial role in expanding our talent base and supporting our hiring efforts.
- You'll manage our end-to-end recruitment process: develop and update job descriptions and post on appropriate job boards, screen candidate resumes and job applications to assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, schedule and conduct interviews and reference checks.
- You'll actively source, cultivate, and recruit top candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- You'll liaise with teams and individuals, ensuring their HR and administrative requests are taken care of promptly.
- You'll lead employee engagement and champion a culture of excellence, fun, belonging, and perseverance.
- You'll assist with our new employee onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for all new hires.
- You'll store and manage supplies for our new employee toolkit so that all new hires have the equipment they need to do their jobs well.
- You'll create and maintain meticulous records and processes using our ATS and cloud office tools.
- You'll manage multiple email accounts and respond promptly to inquiries.
- You'll support stretch projects and assist the team as needed.
- You'll wear many different hats in a lean, agile, and fast-paced culture.
Who you are
You care about your work, you know your stuff, and you go the extra mile.
- You are legally eligible to work in Canada.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 3 years of Human Resources experience, ideally in a fast-paced professional services or start-up environment.
- You have at least 1 year experience in full cycle recruitment.
- You have experience with sourcing and you’re able to proactively search for high-quality potential candidates.
- You have some knowledge of current employment legislation and Employment requirements across Canada.
- You’re process-oriented and adaptable – you can follow a pattern of steps that lead to consistent quality results while being adaptable to evolving situations based on business needs.
- You’re willing to wear multiple hats – you can handle varied responsibilities and you thrive in a dynamic environment.
- You have first-rate attention to detail, high-level organization skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You're an amazing scheduler and can manage multiple calendars with high standards.
- You have proven skills using Google Suite, ATS systems, and sourcing tools (i.e., LinkedIn and Indeed).
- You're good with numbers, spreadsheets, and math doesn't scare you.
- You're a lifelong learner, a student for life.
