As the Head of Total Rewards, you are responsible for the planning, design, implementation and administration of a comprehensive total rewards strategy and program for the Company. This position will research and bring in-depth understanding of external best-practices and innovative trends and apply them to Total Rewards programs and technologies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the research and analysis to assess the competitiveness and economic nature of company's Total Rewards programs. Translate findings into a comprehensive rewards strategy. 
  • Partner closely with the Executive Team to shape and define company-wide Total Rewards philosophy.  
  • Architect, implement and administer a best-in-class Total Rewards practice that supports a comprehensive rewards strategy. 
  • Partner with HR and leadership on appropriate total reward packages to recruit and retain talent. 
  • Lead team through regular benchmarking cycles to analyze and strategically assess the effectiveness of current and new programs in achieving organizational objectives; identify best practices and benchmarks developing recommendations for modifications to create and align market competitive Total Rewards programs to Employee Engagement strategy and business goals. 
  • Determine and implement metrics that assess and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing Total Rewards programs and new initiatives. 
  • Act as trusted champion for employee retention, specifically ensuring compelling total rewards' solutions for key employees. 
  • Drive annual milestone review process and benchmarking strategies. Support all compensation planning processes in collaboration with all areas of Employee Engagement. 
  • Effectively plan and direct the implementation and administration of all benefit plans including annual open enrollment efforts. Develop and coordinate communications strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees about total rewards. 
  • Lead the performance management and rewards and recognition programs for the company. 
  • Prepare annual budget and manage expenditures for Total Rewards programs. 
  • Support the development and integration of new and/or existing rewards programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and cost effective. 
  • Direct the execution of the semi-monthly payroll process in compliance with federal/state/local regulations. 
  • Partner with and actively communicate with all areas of the business to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing. 

Requirements: 

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, with 6+ in total rewards including compensation and benefits. 
  • Proven experience creating and managing innovative, compelling compensation and total rewards programs in a fast-paced environment; skilled at interpreting business needs and making decisions based on emerging priorities. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations; financial prowess and ability to build and manage budgets, build predictive and projective models, full understanding of equity practices, accounting, and taxation, etc. 
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive to success multiple concurrent projects, with strong operational background. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of an organization on key compensation and benefits topics; excels at openness and flexibility with internal clients, balanced with maintaining consistency in total rewards philosophies and practices. 
  • Excellent people skills, including written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
  • Ability and desire to work strategically as well as hands-on. 

The pay range for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's level of experience.
