Head of Marketing Orchestration

Your Mission
We are looking for a Head of Marketing Orchestration to join the Global Marketing team at BlaBlaCar. The Marketing Orchestration team's mission is to define local go-to market strategies and execute them across the funnel from acquisition to retention, leveraging creative studio assets. You will be reporting to the VP of Marketing and working with a team that will grow to approximately 10-15 reports in 2024. 
The team will have 2 main responsibilities:
- Marketing Orchestration: Leading and orchestrating local campaigns and go-to market action plans that are aligned with our business priorities and global marketing guidelines. Each Marketing Orchestrator will be responsible for their local market
- Content and assets creation: Our internal creative studio



Your Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of marketing orchestrators and internal creative talents, empowering them to evolve into strategic business sparring partners for business owners while fostering their professional growth
  • Be responsible for the yearly country marketing plans and accountable for the campaigns’ contribution to the overall business results
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to business P&L owners 
  • Ensure seamless integration of the local go-to market with the global marketing strategy and brand positioning
  • Utilize global marketing insights to enhance and tailor local go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals
  • Offer valuable local perspectives and data to enrich the global marketing strategy, fostering adaptability and responsiveness to diverse market dynamics
  • Coordinate and prioritize local marketing needs and requests, within global marketing operations 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration by facilitating the exchange of best practices among diverse regions, promoting synergy and maximizing collective expertise



Your Qualifications
  • Approx. 10-15 years in marketing organizations covering marketing strategy and go-to market strategy, with a focus on B2C/C2C
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convince senior executives and sell internally your team
  • Exceptional people management skills with experience in managing different levels of seniority and growing talents within the team
  • Strong strategic thinking skills 
  • Strong data driven mindset
  • Structure and ability to prioritize projects in a fast moving environment 
  • Strong experience of working with international markets (Brazil is a plus) and in an international work environment
  • Excellent level of English
  • Ability to assess creative work in light of business impact
  • Nice to have: experience in the apps ecosystem and design-thinking experience

  • Two 30-min video-calls with stakeholders: Khoi Nguyen, Senior VP Western Europe and Piotr Jas, Senior VP CEE & LATAM Marketplace, to evaluate your strategic thinking, leadership and stakeholder management skills 
  • A 30-min video-call with Verena Butt d’Espous, Chief Customer Officer for a final validation
