About the role
As Head of Benefits, you will take ownership and drive the selection and arrangement of our benefits products. With a focus on enhancing our existing products and expanding new ones across Europe. You will be a repository of information and advice to our team, customers and partners while building the processes and tools that scale this as we grow. The person in this role will need to abide by the Central Bank of Ireland’s fitness and probability regime in the role of PCF-17 as a Head of Retail Sales.
What you’ll do
As the Head of Benefits reporting to the CEO, you will:
Enhance product offerings in new and existing markets by working with existing and new Insurance and Pension providers.
Execute innovative health, retirement, and life plans with a strong product focus.
Develop data-driven recommendations for future benefits plan designs by forecasting industry trends.
Negotiate provider contracts with the expansion and provider relationship teams to deliver our customers the best possible benefits programs.
Provide the best possible information, advice, and educational materials to our customers via guides, blogs, webinars, and calls by working with our sales and customer success teams.
Create a repository of materials for our customers to lean on and support through the enrollment process.
Supervise and train new entrants in compliance with Minimum Competency Code (MCC) requirements to build a team.
Measure your success by customer satisfaction and renewal rates.
About you
You have over 8 years of experience in a similar role within a brokerage or product producer, with a proven track record of high achievement.
You possess the necessary experience, skills, and relevant qualifications (APA/CIP/QFA) to fulfil the role of PCF-17 and, in this context, be in a position to comply with Fitness and Probity and MCC requirements fully. Additionally, their CPD should be compliant with no CPD "fails" on record.
While not currently holding a PCF-17 role, the individual should have the necessary experience, skills, and qualifications to successfully gain approval from the Central Bank of Ireland.
You have experience in the Private Medical Insurance and Pensions Industries and hold relevant qualifications.
You are hyper-ambitious, confident in your abilities, and love taking ownership.
You have experience in competitive RFP processes and submitting winning proposals.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can create content and documentation to support and scale your role.
Additionally, you possess excellent business acumen, commercial awareness, and the ability to understand broad business issues.
