Summary & Objectives

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Associate Designer to join our Client's team at Stellen Design. This part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week, is ideal for a talented designer looking to contribute to a variety of projects while freeing up time for their senior designer to focus on larger initiatives. Your role will involve handling smaller design projects and requests, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency in all your work.

Key Responsibilities & Functions

1. Complete graphic design projects for clients and our company, taking content and re-laying it out for different social platforms.
2. Manage and execute small design requests and projects promptly and accurately.
3. Use the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, InDesign) to create high-quality designs.
4. Follow directions carefully and ensure prompt completion of tasks.
5. Maintain a good eye for design and ask questions if any direction or edits are unclear.
6. Collaborate with the senior designer and the administrative assistant, Carolina, to ensure smooth project workflow.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in graphic design.
• Proven experience as a designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Familiarity with various social media platforms and the ability to adapt designs accordingly.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, InDesign) is essential.
