BRAC USA staff work in a hybrid work environment that includes both in-office and remote work arrangements. This position will be based in the Northeast, with a preference for candidates located in the DC or New York area. This role combines the benefits of remote work flexibility with the need for in-office collaboration.
About the Position
BRAC USA seeks a highly motivated and entrepreneurial candidate to help grow the capacity of our organization, build our brand, and mobilize resources.
The Officer/Administrator Grants will provide dedicated and active engagement on the full cycle of BRAC USA award management, with particular emphasis on awards from the Corporations, Foundations and other private supporters. This role supports award compliance with BRAC’s accounting and grant management policies and with donor requirements. The incumbent will report to the Manager, Grants and Compliance and work closely with the Finance teams and also with the Corporate and Foundation Relations, Development, and Communications teams in these efforts. The Officer/Administrator will liaise with relevant stakeholders, particularly with the Global Resource Mobilization and Partnerships (GRP) unit’s Grants Management team, and BRAC and BRAC International (BI) staff in the countries, regions and headquarters, and will problem-solve to instill overall health of awards, escalating issues as needed.

● Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on diverse teams, both in-person and remotely, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
● Excellent analytical, communication, writing and editing skills.

● Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● One to two years experience in grants administration.
● Knowledge of grant making and administrative practices.
● Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office. Experience with Slack, Salesforce or other collaboration platforms.

BRAC USA offers a competitive salary and benefits package including base salary, medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA, life insurance, 401k, annual professional development stipend, and generous paid time off. Note that some benefits are subject to a waiting period, and more information can be provided to shortlisted applicants upon request. The salary range for this position is $61,000-$64,000.
