Position overview

The Global Director of Accounting will lead and oversee all accounting operations, including monthly closing and consolidation, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. They will also take charge of managing tax and audit requirements, cash forecasting, and insurance, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Monthly close and consolidation of all worldwide entities
Coordination of annual audit and statutory audits in Europe and Asia
Preparation of weekly cash forecast and monitoring AR and AP activities
Management of annual insurance renewal and benefit plan compliance
Analysis of intercompany accounts and related tax agreements
Oversee equity activity and annual 409A valuation

Skills and qualifications

University degree in either accounting or a finance/business related major or equivalent
10+ years of experience with an operational finance focus
Good understanding of GAAP accounting and consolidations
VC or PE backed Start-Up/Late-Stage B2B Enterprise SaaS experience
Experience managing a global team
Highly motivated, self-starter who can ‘connect the dots’ in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable in an ambiguous environment and having a proactive problem solving, analytically driven approach

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Experience with foreign tax and statutory requirements
Equity management experience
Experience with Black Scholes valuations and models
CPA license is a plus
