Overview

The General Manager will oversee all company operations. This includes optimizing the company’s operating capabilities, employing strategies to maximize growth, and focusing on customer satisfaction. This position is accountable for driving better integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions, including marketing, sales, product development, customer support, pricing, and revenue management. These responsibilities include collaborative activities around the company budget, forecasts and roadmaps, team member growth, and standard operating processes.

The sales, marketing, support, onboarding, customer success, and product development functions will all report to this position. There will be a significant ramp-up period into this role, taking from six to twelve months.

The company uses the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and this position will take on the company integrator role.

Responsibilities

  • Own, refine, and execute ongoing sales and marketing strategies to perpetuate the company’s current 50 percent year-over-year revenue growth.
  • In partnership with the Operations Manager, continued buildout and improvement of support, onboarding, and customer-success functions, with a strong focus on improved customer satisfaction and churn reduction.
  • Oversight of an ongoing SAAS platform, including programming, front end, QA and DevOps resources.
  • Annual and quarterly goal setting based on EOS best practices, including both financial and product roadmaps.
  • Focus on right-person-right-seat recruitment and team member growth, using Culture Index assessments in addition to supporting direct reports in all staffing issues.
  • As the EOS integrator, oversight and execution of EOS infusion throughout the organization.
  • Retaining and increasing gross margins, while at the same time controlling/reducing cost.
  • Champion for all quality and continuous improvement activities for the company.

Requirements

 

  • Proven direction and management of successful sales, marketing, and business development functions in a B2B environment.
  • Leadership of support, onboarding, and customer development functions.
  • Oversight of an ongoing SAAS platform, including programming, front end, QA and DevOps resources.
  • Responsible for profit and loss and overall company budgeting.
  • Experience as an EOS integrator.
  • Demonstrated leadership role in one or more companies with between 3 and 20 million in annual recurring revenue.
  • Residential property management experience is a strong plus.
