Role Description:
 
We’re working on a confidential search for a GM of a small, profitable SaaS business. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, direction, and growth of this SaaS business. The business is part of a larger company and you will be working with the CEO of the parent organization, but you will have ultimate responsibility and decision making power when it comes to the direction and ultimate success of this business. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Strategic Leadership: Establish and execute strategic plans to achieve growth objectives and deliver a top-tier SaaS product experience.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop your org. Group is about 10 people at the moment across engineering, marketing and customer success.
  • Product Vision: We need this person to have a strong product leadership background. As GM, you’ll ultimately have control of the direction of the product. You need to be very experienced building a product org in a B2B SaaS.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional output from the team. 
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage the P&L, ensuring profitability and financial health. 


 
What you need to be successful: 
 

  • Proven experience in a B2B SaaS business, ideally having directly contributed to a companies growth from 4mm -> 10mm+ ARR as a VP, C-Level executive or General Manager..
  • Strong track record in product design and the crafting of compelling product roadmaps. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of 10+ individuals, ideally across product and growth teams.
  • Exceptional communication and team building skills. The team needs to be confident in and motivated by their new leader. You should have multiple experiences building a remote first SaaS culture with low turnover rates for employees.
