Methodical is actively looking for a Game Producer with professional experience in games to join our growing team. Candidates should have at least three years of experience as a Game Producer and a proven track record of producing and launching successful, high quality games. Additionally, we’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of how each discipline operates and interacts end to end, throughout the game production lifecycle.
The ideal candidate promotes collaboration across disciplines, motivates others, and builds trust with leadership, developers, and publishers. This role reports to the Game Director and requires a self-starter who will establish lasting relationships with stakeholders, adding incremental value across all departments. Our team is seeking a Game Producer with the ability to operate within the big picture while successfully managing the details. Identifying known risks, forecasting potential risks, and offering tailored solutions for resolution are essential to the success of this role.
Responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to execute on game production plans.
Maintain and organize project schedules, milestones, and tasks; own the tracking of progress against each milestone.
Guide the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organization, and process improvement across all game development disciplines.
Identify and implement workflow best practices including but not limited to; process documentation, standardization, task management, project management, and capacity planning.
Highlight roadblocks and project risks while offering recommended solutions through a consultative approach.
Own the documentation of team meeting notes, translate them into an organized recap with action items, and distribute to necessary stakeholders.
Handle relationships and manage communications between leadership team and external partners such as publishers, outsourcing groups, and hardware partners.
Deliver recurring, standardized project updates to stakeholders on overall project health to keep teams moving forward with a shared vision.
3+ years production experience on cross-disciplinary game development teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience supporting cross functional teams on completed projects from discovery through launch.
Strong decision-making capabilities with a demonstrable ability to think outside the box.
Ability to adapt and fine-tune processes to facilitate each departments' workstyle, allowing developers to focus on their craft.
Strong mediation and problem-solving skills.
Passion for making and playing games.
Professional production experience on a new game IP within a startup environment.
Experience producing games developed in Unreal Engine.
Production experience on a shipped console game.

Methodical Games is a remote hybrid studio with an office in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are building an office first culture centered around collaboration, but we are open to fully remote work depending on the position and candidate.
