Game Developer (PixiJS)

Logifuture is on the look out for a Game Developer (PixiJS) to join its Game Studio. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating online games using the latest online gaming technologies. With a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a software development role, you are proficient in Front-End technologies, have experience in building enterprise grade systems which are robust, scalable, highly performant and secure, and open to learn the latest cutting-edge technologies and patterns. The role is ideal for developers with a passion for online gaming.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for developing and delivering online gambling games;
• Assist Front End Team Lead;
• Work with Product Owners throughout the lifecycle of development to ensure that Product’s vision is being met;
• Collaborate with Designers and Illustrators;
• Collaborate with Back End developers;
• Work with the Front End Team Lead to maintain existing Game Code;
• Ensure code quality and adhere to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience;
• 3+ years of professional experience in game development;
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and the PixiJS Engine;
• Knowledge of Canvas and Web GL advantageous;
• Knowledge of 3D graphics and three.js advantageous;
• Knowledge of Physics engines and Box 2D advantageous;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Experience creating Online Games (Gambling Games desirable);
