Opportunity
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer works in Agile teams to design, build and maintain platform enhancements using technology and framework such as Symfony and React. This role collaborates closely with other Developers, Designers, Testers, and Product Owners to ensure the successful deployment of effective product solutions that align with the company's commercial goals. The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer is expected to deliver consistently on task commitments within deadlines while ensuring the code developed is modular, clear, testable, and maintainable across both the backend and frontend components of the application.
Role
Key responsibilities:
• You’ll optimise a set of modern high performance real-time cloud-native apps that enable airlines, fuel suppliers and airports optimise aviation fuel operations and accountability across the whole lifecycle
• These apps are fully connected and updated in real-time with a set of proprietary mobile apps for both pilots and airport ground handlers, facilitating all stakeholders involved to use data to always make the best decisions • You’ll build dynamic and modular components and backend services integrated with the backend via RESTFUL APIs, microservices and complex integrations for messaging, or telemetry mapping amongst others
• You’ll ship high quality code, fully tested (producing unit, functional and e2e tests) • You’ll play a key role in one of our multiple product teams together with our outstanding product, design and other engineers contributing across the full development cycle If you have the following experience then you may be the Full Stack Engineer we need: Technical
• Front End: JavaScript, React, Redux, JSX, HTML, CSS, BEM, PubNub, Webpack, a11y (We also have some legacy areas of the platform we need to migrate built with jQuery, Bootstrap, Ractive & Mustache/Handlebars/Twig) • Backend: Symfony PHP • Testing: PHPUnit, Behat, Jest, React Testing Library
• Main Tools: JIRA, Slack, Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration, Peer Review, Pair Programming, TDD, BDD Behaviours
