Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.

Responsibilities

You’re our perfect candidate if you:

• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Working to improve the application performance, scalability, maintainability in a new product that is using a modern tech stack
• Find opportunities to automate manual processes and creatively add value to the project
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Working with your team to continuously improve processes so that we can focus our time on building great software and not dealing with interruptions, excessive planning meetings, etc.
• Planning and developing front-end and back-end features with your team.
• Ideally develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Be able to write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing and capacity building by training fellow developers, enhancing overall team competency and productivity.

Requirements

Your expertise in a nutshell:

• 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Proactive on taking ownership
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
• Team player, really motivated with technical challenges
• Knowledge of back-end languages (Node.js) and JavaScript frameworks (React)
• Experience with semantic HTML, CSS and component-based static sites generators such as NextJS.
• Experience and an interest for using Typescript
• Experience working with microservices and hexagonal architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Great attention to detail
• Analytical thinking and good problem solving skills
• Autonomous learner
• A passion for clean code and high performance solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field

Nice To have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
