We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to design and build web applications by producing front-end code to create an optimal user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design.
What you will be doing
- Enhancing and maintaining a modern JavaScript-based application
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining front-end software code to make available and display pre-processed data
- Developing and maintaining test cases for the front-end applications
What you need to be considered for this role (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college/university
- 4+ years of proven experience developing front-end user interfaces
- 4+ years of recent hands-on experience with JavaScript and related ecosystem tools (e.g., bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, etc.)
- Prior experience with TypeScript and Node.js/NPM
- Experience with XML /XBRL ( Good to have).
- Experience with Webpack, Web Worker, Fetch, and Sass
- Strong understanding of web application software development lifecycle including version control, debugging tools, and testing tools
- Passion for working on complex software solutions having major impact on the client we serve
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to effectively and efficiently multitask, prioritize, and carry out projects through to completion with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- U.S. Citizenship required (dual nationals not eligible)
- Position will require a Public Trust background investigation

- Prior experience with and/or knowledge of XBRL
- Prior experience with and/or knowledge of Python
- Prior experience with and/or knowledge of Java
- Familiarity with Cypress and Playwright
- Knowledge of testing frameworks
- Prior experience working with financial data or financial management systems

Base Compensation: $120-140K, based on factors such as geographic location and experience
