Front-End Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to design and build web applications by producing front-end code to create an optimal user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design.

What you will be doing

Enhancing and maintaining a modern JavaScript-based application
Developing, enhancing, and maintaining front-end software code to make available and display pre-processed data
Developing and maintaining test cases for the front-end applications

What you need to be considered for this role (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college/university
4+ years of proven experience developing front-end user interfaces
4+ years of recent hands-on experience with JavaScript and related ecosystem tools (e.g., bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, etc.)
Prior experience with TypeScript and Node.js/NPM
Experience with XML /XBRL ( Good to have).
Experience with Webpack, Web Worker, Fetch, and Sass
Strong understanding of web application software development lifecycle including version control, debugging tools, and testing tools
Passion for working on complex software solutions having major impact on the client we serve
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Ability to effectively and efficiently multitask, prioritize, and carry out projects through to completion with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
U.S. Citizenship required (dual nationals not eligible)
Position will require a Public Trust background investigation

Prior experience with and/or knowledge of XBRL
Prior experience with and/or knowledge of Python
Prior experience with and/or knowledge of Java
Familiarity with Cypress and Playwright
Knowledge of testing frameworks
Prior experience working with financial data or financial management systems

Location: Fully Remote
Base Compensation: $120-140K, based on factors such as geographic location and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
