About the Financial Data Analyst role:

Come and join a small but high-leverage finance team. Hedera Hashgraph is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Data Analyst to join us asap! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics and business intelligence, ideally, experience in the fintech and/or blockchain industries. They should be adaptable, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and running simulations for stress testing and back-testing of Hbar Treasury Management; and analyze on-chain and market data through various analytics and data science tools.
Collaborate with the Finance and BI Lead and the corresponding Technical teams to build and maintain the finance database.
Support the creation and analysis of annual budgets.
Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of token economic models that enable key decision-making.
Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the automation and standardization of on-chain analysis and reporting for financial data required for GAAP compliance.
Help prepare analyses around token economics and network dynamics for specific protocols and ecosystems for stakeholders.

Skills:

2-4 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence, preferably in the fintech industry.
Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in statistical packages and/or programming languages like Python, R, and SQL.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software, particularly Google Sheets.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker/DataStudio).
Experience in business intelligence and/or data analytics in the Fintech industry.
Ability to travel for corporate meetings and team off-sites as needed.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Good design and visualization skills.
