About the Finance Team:

This is a newly created role in the Financial Control team. The candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller in London, United Kingdom. The customer billing and accounts payable functions are performed centrally by colleagues in the UK, Philippines and Mexico. The candidate will ensure the US entity remains compliant with all relevant financial regulations as operations continue to grow.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with US financial regulations and reporting standards
• Prepare US state income tax filings, including register for sales tax in new states, liaise with tax advisors to prepare nexus studies, prepare voluntary disclosure agreements.
• Provide information to the external tax advisors regarding US Federal Income Tax returns
• Assist with US Employment tax reporting and payment obligations
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that all balances are correct and differences investigated
• Assist develop and implement internal controls, processes and financial policies
• Preparation of cash flow forecasting
• Liaise with bank relationship managers and perform treasury management duties
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the US legal entity
• Liaise with Account and project managers on revenue recognition requirements
• Assist in system transformation project from SUN Systems to SAP S4/HANA

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant/Manager or similar role
• Solid knowledge of US accounting regulations and In-depth understanding of US business bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent mathematical skills with an attention to detail
• Experience with SaaS revenue recognition and milestone billing
• Time-management abilities
• Be comfortable working with ambiguity and promoting financial controls
• Ability to articulate complex situations to non-finance professionals
• Maintain composure in high stress situations
• A drive for constant improvement

Education, Training and Experience:

• CPA, CMA or international equivalent
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• Accounting and tax experience in a large SaaS business
• 5+ years of experience

• This role is working remotely, although some travel to US or offices outside of the may be required.

Pay & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is from $90,000 - $110,000 USD.
