Finance Accountant

Hours: Full Time 

Location: Fully remote. This opportunity is open to you if you can legally work remotely from one of our home countries in Hungary.

Contract: Permanent

What the role entails:

Some of the key responsibilities of our Finance Accountant will be: 

• Data entry, administration and accounting
• Processing supplier invoices
• Client invoicing and remitter monitoring
• Processing and posting payments
• Preparing reconciliations
• Participation in month-end and year-end closing
• Participation in reporting and audits

What we ask of you:

• Experienced individual with min. 3 years of experience in corporate finance and/or accounting
• Thorough knowledge of UK GAAP
• Statutory experience with UK
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
• Chartered accountant qualification (registration is not required), ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel

Preferences:

• ERP system knowledge preferably Navision
• IFRS certification is an asset
• Analytical skills
  
• Proactive personality
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Team player and is also able to work remotely
