We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant/Social Media Manager. This hybrid role combines administrative support with social media management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a creative flair for social media content, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both the executive team's effectiveness and our social media presence.
Job Type: Full-time, Graveyard shift (US hours)
Rate: USD $5-8/hour
Job Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels, maintaining a consistent and positive online presence.
- Participate in engagement pods and relevant online communities to foster connections, grow our online network, and enhance our brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with the company's goals and branding guidelines.
2. Social Media Design:
- Design visually appealing graphics, images, and videos that align with the brand's aesthetic and messaging for use on LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Utilize creative tools and software to produce high-quality, attention-grabbing content that resonates with our target audience.
3. Executive Assistance:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to executive team members, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Handle email correspondence, prioritize emails, and draft responses on behalf of executives as needed.
- Attend internal and/or external meetings as needed, and draft meeting minutes/action items.
- Monitor the progress of action items/deadlines, and follow up with the action owner.
- Assist in managing podcasts by reviewing transcripts on platforms like otter.ia, editing content for clarity, and ensuring episodes meet quality standards.
4. Podcast Management:
- Review podcast transcripts for accuracy and completeness on otter.ia, ensuring removal of filler words and any other unnecessary content.
- Collaborate with podcast hosts to enhance the quality of audio content, making sure episodes are engaging and professional.
- Liaise with the Podcast Editor and monitor deliverables to ensure the timely delivery of podcast materials.
- Communicate with potential and existing podcast guests (e.g. booking guests, press kits, podcast releases, etc.)
- Update the website with Podcast episode information (e.g. show notes, guest contact info, resources, transcript, etc.)
5. Website:
- Update the WordPress website with podcast releases, articles, and other updates on an as-needed basis.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and engagement across various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling and concise messages.
- Familiarity with podcast management tools and platforms, including transcript review and editing processes.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
