BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in fostering positive employee relations, resolving workplace conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices
- Address employee relations issues, including grievances, conflicts, and complaints
- Investigate workplace disputes and conduct thorough fact-finding interviews
- Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve conflicts and implement effective solutions
- Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation
- Provide training and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
- Stay updated with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements
- Collaborate with other HR team members on collective bargaining agreements and union-related matters, if applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations mainly in UAE.
- Experience in conducting investigations and resolving employee grievances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers
