Position Overview:

The Employee Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee satisfaction, fostering a positive company culture, and supporting operational functions across multiple departments. This multifaceted role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, motivation, and overall satisfaction.
  • Organize and oversee employee events, team-building activities, and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage employee feedback mechanisms and leverage insights to continuously improve engagement strategies.

Swag Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors to design, source, and distribute branded merchandise and swag items.
  • Maintain inventory levels, track budgets, and ensure timely delivery of swag orders for various internal and external events.

Travel Coordination:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for company-sponsored events, conferences, and employee travel.
  • Liaise with travel agencies, negotiate contracts, and optimize travel budgets while ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

Gift Management:

  • Curate personalized gifts for new hires, work anniversaries, and special occasions in collaboration with department heads.
  • Manage the procurement, packaging, and delivery of gifts while adhering to budgetary guidelines.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

  • Facilitate the formation and growth of employee resource groups to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide resources, guidance, and logistical support to ERG leaders to ensure meaningful contributions to company objectives.

Finance Support:

  • Assist the finance team with budget planning, expense tracking, and financial reporting related to employee engagement activities.
  • Streamline processes and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality standards.

Event and Program Organization:

  • Plan and oversee internal events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in project management, event planning, or employee engagement roles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for fostering a positive company culture and employee well-being.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with event planning software/tools are preferred.

Nice to have of the role: 

  • Experience with Employee resource groups: Understanding the principles of ERGs and purpose at an organization 
  • Experience with Event Planning Software/Tools: Familiarity with digital tools that can streamline the organization of events and travel arrangements.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic knowledge of budget planning and expense tracking to support finance-related tasks.
