As Email & SMS marketing specialist, you’ll work closely with the Head of Growth to optimize their email and SMS marketing campaigns.
Your goal is to maximize lead conversion rates and nurture prospects into happy, paying customers.
You will take ownership of managing the existing email programs and newsletter strategy. By analyzing performance metrics, refining messaging, and implementing new automation, you'll identify opportunities to boost results.
Additionally, you'll spearhead bringing SMS campaigns in-house to complement email efforts. This channel will help book more sales calls and drive revenue.
Continuous optimization is key in this role. You will regularly test elements like segmentation, personalization, timing, content formats and calls-to-action. The goal is to improve campaign performance month-over-month.
Key Responsibilities
Straight away
- Optimize existing email activity - You’ll audit our current email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and SMS efforts. Analyze data, refine messaging, fix technical issues, and implement new automations to maximize lead-to-customer conversion rates.
- Bring SMS marketing in-house - Working closely with the Head of Growth, you will lead the effort to bring SMS marketing in-house. Through implementing automation, you can streamline SMS communication while upholding or boosting conversion rates. Bringing SMS in-house will empower further customization, optimization, and scalability over time with minimal extra staffing required.
In the near future
- Discover and test new lifecycle channels - You’ll research potential new direct marketing channels to complement email and SMS. Find opportunities to engage customers post-purchase to drive referrals, cross-sells, upsells, and retention.
- Turn customers into advocates: You'll craft customized content and VIP offers to engage our existing clients, promoting loyalty and retention. You'll showcase your creative expertise to make our clients feel valued, understood, and inspired.
Need to have
- Direct Response Marketing Expert: You have 5+ years of experience running stellar email, SMS, and direct response programs. You have the results and expertise to prove it.
- Testing Mindset: You're obsessed with testing and optimization. No idea goes unvalidated. You know how to turn data into insights and insights into growth.
- Creative Flair: You have a talent for crafting compelling messages and offers. You know how to speak to clients in a motivating yet understanding tone.
- Tech Savvy: You have experience with marketing automation platforms, CRMs, and analytics tools. You’re comfortable learning new software quickly.
