Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced B2B Ecommerce Manager to lead the development and implementation of our e-commerce strategy from the ground up. You are a highly technical individual who can collaborate effectively across departments to drive growth and enhance the customer experience.

In this role, you that will drive the development and customer adoption of e-commerce for Brightspeed Business. You will have experience creating and implementing a B2B e-commerce solution in the telecom industry. You can’t be afraid to do hard work and collaborate extensively with other key teams (sales, product, IT, etc.). You will also evaluate ongoing results of the customer’s digital journey to buy online and recommend/drive improvements where necessary. Preference will go to candidates with experience in the telecom industry, with a deep understanding of B2B e-commerce best practices and technologies. As the Ecommerce Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B e-commerce strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends
  • Lead the selection, design, development, and optimization of our B2B e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience
  • Identify and prioritize key features and functionalities to enhance the online purchasing process for B2B customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and product management, to align e-commerce initiatives with overall business goals
  • Utilize data analytics and customer insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization of the e-commerce platform, with a strong focus on results and reporting
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of e-commerce initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and drive actionable insights
  • Develop and implement a robust reporting framework to communicate e-commerce performance metrics and insights to stakeholders at all levels



Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
  • 5+ years of experience with B2B e-commerce and digital marketing
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing e-commerce strategies that drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Strong technical proficiency, including experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus) and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience managing external agencies and overseeing RFP processes for e-commerce projects
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Results-oriented mindset with a keen focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights
