We are hiring a Director, Technology Operations to join our team. While this role can be located anywhere in the United States, you may choose to work from our Washington, DC headquarters. Relocation assistance may be provided. Occasional travel may be required.  

As a Director, Technology Operations, you will:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary and fully remote team of IT operations, system administrators, and  full-stack devops engineers 
  • Create and own IT operations strategy and roadmap; define SOPs and SLAs; and identify necessary process improvements for effective operations
  • Measure, monitor, and maintain the teams’ ability to meet or exceed documented service desk SLAs
  • Manage the IT and infrastructure systems’ department budgets in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations team
  • Build and maintain relationships with hardware/software vendors and service providers
  • Own and maintain core IT applications (OKTA, Kandji, GSuite, Slack, etc)
  • Proactively communicate with Company leadership about strategic progress and critical outcomes 
  • Successfully recruit, manage, motivate, and develop high performing teams

Preferred Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Prior professional work experience in an enterprise selling software products to the federal government
  • 10+ years of IT management and leadership experience
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and meet business objectives in a global, collaborative and high performance work environment.
  • Change management knowledge and ability to operate effectively in fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and capacity planning in a fast growth environment.

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $200,000 to $300,000 regardless of final candidate location within the United States. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.  Benefits listed in this posting may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Rebellion Defense.
