We are so excited you are interested in joining our team! Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not tick every box. If you are excited to empower science through innovation, we want to hear from you!
Science, at its core, is the noble pursuit of understanding how things happen, why they happen and how we might gain some measure of control over what happens. At Form Bio, we’re on a quest. And our singular role in that quest is to empower our community to fulfill their scientific potential. Our software platform is purpose-built to help push the fast forward button on research, to help scientific collaboration be more collaborative and to dispense with the wholly unscientific struggles of cumbersome, DIY IT work.
We’re not here to disrupt the scientific profession, we’re here to empower it. The potential and pursuit of truth is what empowers us. Put simply, Form was created to be a breakthrough for breakthroughs.
Form Bio is expanding its marketing team and looking for an experienced Director of Product Marketing. In this position you will be playing important dual roles covering both upstream product/solutions strategy as well as downstream marketing, GTM and sales enablement tactics. The person in this position will start as a senior individual contributor, with the opportunity to hire one or more summer graduate-level interns and future potential to hire additional product marketers in step with business growth/success.
While this is a director-level position, it’s important to note that it will incorporate not just strategy-level upstream product marketing responsibilities but at least equally a high degree of direct, hands-on individual contributor work such as building presentations for sales and investor meetings, market sizing and analysis, messaging and positioning development, case study/collateral creation and a range of go-to-market tactics and management for new solutions and business initiatives.
In addition to having applicable experience in cell and gene therapy and technical product/solution marketing, the best candidate will be a well rounded thinker AND doer with the following characteristics:
Analytical. You’re data driven and able to develop and articulate a business and financial case for product/solution strategy, market selection and new business opportunities.
Athletic. You’re able to move and deliver rapidly, not letting perfection get in the way of a solid stake-in-the-ground. You can gracefully shift priorities when needed and keep pace in a rapidly changing early stage startup environment.
Artful. You may not be a designer but you’re creatively discerning and have nuanced judgment when it comes to deliverables and external packaging. You can craft compelling stories, narrative frameworks and external-ready copy around complex scientific and business topics, and you can guide outside resources on making your work visually organized and captivating.
