Director, Patient Marketing

Position Overview
The Director of Patient Marketing will provide oversight for all patient marketing initiatives for IRO, DRO and specialty services with special focus around compliance. This position will work cross functionally with Patient Communications, Patient Education, Patient Access, and Patient Experience in addition to other operational groups across Care Access organization.  
 
What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
·         Develop and lead internal PR teams (Patient Site Ads, Digital Marketing and Recruitment Strategy) to ensure all areas are strategic and innovative as they work to fulfill the top of the PR funnel. 
·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Market Research and Data Analysis, to gather insights and incorporate data-driven decisions into patient marketing strategies.
·         Strategize on the design of patient journeys across all IRO/DRO studies in collaboration with Business Development and Customer Success departments.
·         Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust marketing strategies and ensure compliance.
·         Provide regular briefs (bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly) with key stakeholders around Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and overall customer satisfaction scores against industry standards.
·         Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and external partners, to enhance the impact of patient marketing initiatives.
·         Oversee the creation and execution of patient-centric content across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and compliance standards.
·         Lead the development of patient engagement programs, leveraging digital platforms and emerging technologies to enhance the patient experience and drive positive health outcomes.
·         Collaborate with Legal and Regulatory teams to review and approve marketing materials, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
·         Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve key performance indicators and objectives.
·         Develop and manage the patient marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective implementation of campaigns.
·         Act as a mentor and leader within the patient marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Physical and Travel Requirements
·         This is a remote position with less than 20% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
 
What You Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
·         Strong analytical mindset, adept at interpreting data to inform strategic decision-making for patient marketing campaigns.
·         Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, driving innovation in patient engagement approaches.
·         In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, coupled with a solid background in graphic design systems to ensure a holistic and integrated marketing approach.
·         Track record of successfully adapting to and implementing advancements in technology and tools within the patient marketing landscape, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends.
·         Proven leadership in developing and executing comprehensive patient engagement strategies, reflecting a deep understanding of the evolving dynamics in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
·         Strong command of compliance considerations within patient marketing, ensuring all initiatives align with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
·         Exceptional skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and providing strategic guidance on patient marketing initiatives based on accumulated knowledge.
 
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, preferred.
·         At least 10 years of experience in marketing and building strategies.
