About the Interledger Foundation
The Interledger Foundation (ILF) is a philanthropic nonprofit whose mission is to extend digital financial access to the world's 1.4 billion unbanked and underbanked populations by using the Interledger Protocol (ILP), a currency-agnostic payments network. ILF engages entrepreneurs, communities, government entities, and other mission-aligned organizations to build viable solutions on ILP that will move the needle towards increasing financial inclusion. Our vision is to make sending payments worldwide as easy as it is to send an email, and we need your help to make this ambitious goal a reality.
About the Role
As the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will have the unique opportunity to establish and execute the fundraising strategy for our dynamic organization. Although ILF is a relatively young foundation, we have already made significant contributions towards our mission of increasing digital financial inclusion, and we're excited to have you join us to ensure we continue moving the needle forward.
This role is best suited for you if you're an established fundraiser with deep ties in either the nonprofit or payments ecosystems. You have the uncanny ability of not only thinking unconventionally while creating a comprehensive development plan, but delivering impactful results as well. Taking on challenges with an entrepreneurial approach in continuously evolving environments is where you thrive. You are intellectually curious, mission-aligned, and our values to always “be open. be inclusive. be innovative.” resonates with your personal ethos.
