As Hive.co continues to grow we are looking for a Director of Partnerships to join and lead our Partnership team. Much of our success and revenue growth has been driven organically by our partners, and we are looking for someone who is excited to drive the process of expanding our current partner relationships and securing new ones.
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partner management while building and implementing measurable processes for partner engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Develop & implement partnership growth strategy:
Identify high-value potential partners within the live events industry and orchestrate strategies to engage them.
Prioritize key growth opportunities taking into account the overall strategic objectives of the company.
Review and adjust partnership strategy periodically based on performance metrics, industry trends, and organizational needs.
Lead partnership lifecycle management:
Work with cross-functional leadership to ensure smooth partner onboarding, integration, and ongoing success.
Oversee the tracking and analysis of partnership performance metrics, guiding your team to take corrective action where necessary, identify areas of improvement, and optimize for robust revenue growth.
Drive revenue expansion and account growth:
Identify and strategically pursue opportunities for substantial account expansion within partner organizations.
Advise Sales & Customer Success leadership on how we can upsell and cross-sell our services effectively.
Leverage a comprehensive understanding of partners’ unique needs and objectives to guide the team in developing tailored growth strategies.
Own collaboration among internal teams:
Ensure a cross-functional approach to partnerships by facilitating effective collaboration between the Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
Set the direction for collecting and using insights from partners to inform company-wide strategy, product development, marketing initiatives, and customer success strategies.
Oversee team leadership, performance management, and talent acquisition
Coach and develop the Partnership team which includes setting performance expectations and identifying when performance improvement plans are needed.
Actively participate in talent acquisition activities. This includes identifying hiring needs and overseeing the recruitment process to attract, hire, and onboard high-quality talent.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partnership management or business development and 3 years in a management role, preferably within SaaS, email marketing, or a related industry.
Proven track record of developing and achieving revenue growth through partnership channels, including identifying and expanding revenue opportunities with existing partners, and obtaining new partnership opportunities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners at all levels, including C-suite executives.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities within the market and partner ecosystems.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer success, to drive partner success and achieve organizational goals.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving growth through strategic partnerships.
