Key Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic HR Business Partner expertise to maximize organizational performance
- Participates as a strategic business partner in the design, implementation and evaluation of multi-functional solutions to business problems
- Translates business strategy and organizational needs into contemporary solutions including organizational design, talent management, and culture change.
- Stays updated on relevant HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Seamlessly collaborates with leaders and HR colleagues for effective deployment of HR solutions
- Understands the business, core business drivers and HR strategies and how they interrelate.
- Positions HR advice in the broader context of the business’ goals and objectives
- Speaks with fluency about current business issues and the role of strategic HR initiatives in enabling business objectives
- Makes a persuasive case by offering a clear, relevant rationale for HR solutions that address the priorities of the audience
- Constructively challenges business stakeholders when exploring internal stakeholder requests and discussing potential solutions
- Navigates complex HR related situations and contributes to the decision-making process
- Utilizes critical thinking skills to analyze HR data and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Assists with other tasks or special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in legal risk assessment as well as the application of employment law in most HR business situations
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Must have knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Work Environment:
- Remote-based
- Dynamic, interactive, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
- Domestic or international travel is required (10%)
Compensation is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k and other benefits, including unlimited paid time off and parental leave. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $210,000.00 - $225,000.00.
