Director, Growth Marketing

The Omada Marketing team is focused on creating awareness and engaging people for lasting, healthy change. We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Leader to help us meet our ambitious growth goals leveraging best in class agile digital marketing strategies and experiments to accelerate growth.

Job Overview

The Director, Growth Marketing will be responsible for customer acquisition working hand in hand with Omada’s management team to build and execute a long term strategy focused on driving member growth. He/she will own creative development of marketing communications designed to acquire new members, so a strong sense of best-in-class messaging and design that resonates with our target audience is essential.  In addition, the Director will identify growth opportunities outside of our current channels and will develop test strategies to ensure that new initiatives have a positive ROI for the business.  Additionally, the Director must have a strong ability to understand marketing analytics, including the factors that drive enrollment rate such as lead age, frequency, creative execution and other list attributes.  This person should understand when personalization and segmentation will drive incremental acquisition versus creating unnecessary work by versioning without the commensurate lift in revenue.  Finally, the role requires significant cross-functional partnership across commercial, product and engineering teams so the ideal candidate can balance having well-informed opinions with a collaborative approach to new marketing campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience with direct marketing to consumers; healthcare or regulated industry is preferred
  • The direct marketing experience must include developing email, direct mail and digital campaigns to drive acquisition, with strong knowledge of email and direct mail marketing best practices
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the complexity of marketing operations, and an ability to partner with operations to identify capacity constraints and streamlined solutions.
  • Ability to generate awareness for Omada’s product offering, get users signed up and set up for success!
  • An attitude of constant optimization - scaling what’s working and improving what’s not
  • Experience developing the member acquisition journey for different channels.
  • Build repeatable, metrics-driven processes around customer acquisition.
  • A career defined by progressively expanding leadership roles in successful/recognizable consumer and/or B2B2C companies, tilting towards Growth. Health-tech or related experience is a strong plus.
  • Lead with curiosity and an experimental mindset
  • Strong experience with customer relationship marketing.
  • Customer-centric and passionate about serving Omada’s customer base.
  • Fantastic leader and team-builder; a player-coach ready to closely mentor Omada’s Growth Marketing team. Readiness to be a key leader and change agent among the broader Omada leadership team.

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $176,800 - $221,000*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $159,120 - $198,900*. Other states may vary.

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and equity grants. 

*The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
