Your Role at MediaLab
As the Director of Data Management, you will lead all operational and strategic aspects of the data organization, overseeing data engineering, data science and analytics, and business intelligence. You will own all key decisions around what, when, why, where, how data should be used at MediaLab. You must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities to maximize programmatic revenue opportunities.

What You'll Do- Leadership and strategy: Lead and develop a high-performing team of data professionals, setting strategic goals aligned with the company’s revenue targets.
- Data management: Oversee data engineering, ensuring robust data pipelines, architecture, infrastructure, data schema design, and storage systems. Understand and drive how to combine data sensibly, how different data fit together. Deliver initiatives for data governance and quality assurance.
- Revenue optimization: Utilize deep data analysis to identify programmatic ad revenue opportunities. Implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Data investigation: Proactively investigate and resolve data anomalies, employing analytical techniques and tools to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements, provide guidance on data-related topics.
What We're Searching For- Extensive knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies, specifically within the AdTech and programming revenue ecosystem.
- Expertise in SQL, data modeling, schema design, and data governance. Practical experience with BigQuery, Looker, Google Analytics.
- Demonstrated experience using AI/ML to solve practical business problems within AdTech.
- Strong people management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
