Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and aggressive Director of Business Development within our Tableau practice. This position will be a remote position located anywhere in the United States or Canada. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for the following job responsibilities listed below. Overall, the Director plays a critical role in driving revenue growth from new relationships, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring a continuous feed of business opportunity leads.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Achieve sales targets together with Sales, Data Strategy and Client Solutions team in acquiring new logos by identifying, nurturing and closing statements of work through the lead generation process.
- Act as the face of Decision Foundry in the marketplace: Lead client presentations (both in-person and virtually) for sales pursuits and service delivery. Attend various industry events. Understand and articulate in a simple fashion business intelligence solution architecture.
- Act as a client & partner trusted advisor: Engage in a consultative capacity with clients and account teams to refine, adapt, and deploy solutions in support of long-term relationship contracting models. Engage with key partners and segment leadership to participate in the ongoing visioning and definition of industry-leading strategies and solutions.
- Develop the supporting material evangelizing the value of Decision Foundry services: Manage and maintain miscellaneous support for marketing materials, presentations, budgeting, and resource planning.
Requirements
- A minimum of seven years of business experience in sales, consulting, and/or enterprise software experience is required, including demonstrated ability at the management level.
- A track record of success in current and past roles, specifically in business development or a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to maintain strong internal and external networks, leveraging relationships to prospect and close new business.
- Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in small and large group settings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and executive presence skills.
Benefits
- Work Model – Remote
- Base Salary Range of $125,000 USD to $140,000 USD for job posted in the US
- Successful candidates will also be eligible for a sales performance bonus of 10% uncapped above quota with On-Target Earnings (OTE of $162,000 to $182,000)
