DevOps Engineer

*\*This will be a 6+ month contract, and will be100% remote. This person must reside in the state of Texas!\**



*Position Overview/Responsibilities For The DevOps Engineer*
* Architecture, design, development and integration of tools and technologies for delivery of new end-to-end enterprise solutions or enhancements of existing CICD solutions
* Participate in discovery sessions with business liaisons, technology vendors, business analysts to design and develop new scalable and secure Enterprise IT solutions Support Application
* Participation in design sessions for application modernization sessions to provide coverage for DEVOPS areas.
* Participate in DEVOPS roadmap development.
* Participation in Sprints discovery, standups, retrospectives, and other aspects of Agile SDLC
* Integration with tools such as Service Now using available APIs.
* Supporting concurrent application development targeting multiple future releases as part of scoping development work
* Documents processes and procedures.



*Required Skills For The DevOps Engineer*
* 8+ years’ experience in Architecture, design, development and deployment of application and integration with tools.
* 8+ years experience with coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML (eXtensible Markup Language)
* 8+ years’ experience with script languages such as Groovy, Python, Shell, Ruby, bash, shell, Perl

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
